Il Natale è vicino -------- Christmas is close

IT Sabato scorso (il 20 dicembre) in chiesa a Forlì abbiamo avuto la festa di Natale. E' stato bello! Abbiamo fatto le casine con i dolci e poi abbiamo cantato canzoni di Natale... Io ho cantato anche da sola "Nato è Gesù" in tedesco... Mi piace tanto quell'inno in tedesco! Alla fine abbiamo mangiato tante cose buone =)

EN Last saturday (December 20th) we had the branch christmas party at the church in Forlì. It was really beautiful! We made little houses using candies e then we sang Christmas songs... I sang by myself "Silent Night" in German... I love this song in German! At the end we ate lots of good food =)

IT Natale è davvero speciale, putroppo però spesso ci dimentichiamo del vero significato di questa festa... Domenica ho avuto il discorso in chiesa proprio sulla nascita di Gesù e mi ha fatto riflettere molto su quanto Gli sia grata per tutto quello che ha fatto. Se Lui non fosse venuto qua sulla terra e non fosse morto e risuscitato per me, la mia vita non avrebbe alcun senso, ma grazie a Lui ho la possibilità di essere veramente felice e di tornare a vivere insieme alla mia famiglia, con Lui e il mio Padre celeste! Sono davvero felice!!!

EN Christmas is something really special, but unfortunately often we forget the true meaning of this holiday... Last sunday at church I had a talk on Jesus's birth and it made me ponder a lot on how much I feel grateful for all the things he did. If he had not come here on Earth and had not died and risen for me, my life would have no meaning, but thanks to Him I have the chance to be really happy e to come back to live together with my family, with Him and my Heavenly Father! I am really soo happy!!!

IT Ormai è Natale...!!!! Che bello!!! Ho ancora tante cose da fare ma almeno per i regali sono a posto, quest'anno (grazie a Xavier) sono stata abbastanza brava, anche se il regalo per Xavier non mi convince al 100% (intendo il regalo che gli faccio io).... speriamo bene! Ma come si dice sempre è il pensiero che conta!!

Stamattina Elodie ha dato da mangiare al suo bebè, gli ha dato il biberon con il suo latte... è stato troppo forte!!

EN It's almost Christmas day...!!! That's wonderful!!! I still have so many things to do, but concerning presents, this year I have been (thanks to Xavier) really good, even if I am not sure of my present for Xavier ... We'll see!! But as everyone say, it's the thought that counts!!

Il tempo vola!! Time flies!!

IT Mamma mia, ieri Elodie ha fatto già 18 mesi... come passa veloce il tempo... Ieri era anche la festa di ringranziamento in America, e stavo anche pensando che esattamente nel 2003, giovedì 27 novembre ho ricevuto la mia chiamata in missione ed era anche in quell'anno la festa di ringraziamento... Mentre quest'anno di importante c'è stato il compli-mese di Elodie!=) Che giorno importante!!!!

EN Mamma mia, yesterday Elodie turned already 18 months old... time passes by so fast... Yesterday was Thanksgiving in the USA, and I was also thinking that exactly in 2003, on the 27th of november (Thursday) I received my mission call: even back then it was thanksgiving day... Instead this year there was Elodie's month "birthday"! =) Both now and in 2003 was really an important day!!!!

Sono tornata! I am back again!

IT Mi piacerebbe poter avere molto più tempo per aggiornare questo blog... sono davvero rimasta mooooolto indietro!! Ma adesso che ho internet a casa forse riuscirò a scrivere più spesso! Intanto ho deciso di scrivere tutto sia in italiano e inglese così tutti possono capire!!
Bene adesso vado a letto, metterò qualche video e foto nei prossimi giorni!

EN I'd like to have much more time to keep updated this blog... I haven't written for soooooo long! But now I have the Internet at my house and maybe I'll be able to write in here more often! I decided to write everything both in Italian and English, in this way everyone can understand!! Ok, now I go to bed, I'll upload some pictures and videos in the next days!
